Let’s talk about our goals and setting them up.
How do you make achievable goals?
The first step for me is to look at the previous year’s goals. Did I complete the goal that year?
Second, I then come up with a new goal for the new year. For example, my reading goal was 50 books and I surpassed it by 10 books. So, my new goal is to read 65 books. Not too high but attainable.
I found this article and it has an acronym called SMART.
Now I am going to share my original goals. Then use the SMART acronym.
Goals for my business in 2025 .
40 art sales.
500 Instagram followers.
YouTube videos:
One sewing video.
One planner video.
So, let’s now make more SMART goals from my brain dump of goals.
40 art sales. Should be specific with the time of the goal to be completed. I want it completed by November 2025.
500 Instagram followers. I am currently at 380 followers. By April 2025 I want to be at 450 or 500.

This one only needs a little tweaking, It just needs to time specific.
